Authentication

You need a CFactory account to use the IDE and CLI. Sign-in is required before you can run agents, pick models, or configure provider keys.

Sign in

  1. Open CFactory IDE (or run cfactory in a terminal).
  2. Sign in when prompted, or start from factory.cfly.ai.
  3. Pick a model and start a task.

Your account gives you access to CFactory models and usage billing. When your team uses the Admin console, organization policies for skills, rules, and model allowlists apply automatically.

Bring your own key (BYOK)

BYOK is not a substitute for signing in. After you are signed in, you can add provider API keys so specific models route through your own provider accounts. See BYOK.
